Skyscanner - Over charged

I booked a flight through Skyscanner (eDreams) and it was all in Australian Dollars.My invoice shows in Australian dollars. However when i went to my account it has been taken out in US Dollars costing me far more. I have tried to address the issue with e-dreams but have got nowhere on the matter.

I recently canceled my flight with Gotogate due to unforeseen circumstances, expecting a refund within the promised 5 business days. Despite following their cancellation process and receiving confirmation, I have not received my money back.

Extended Waiting Period: After the specified 5 business days passed, no refund was credited to my account. Even after waiting an additional week, there was still no sign of the refund.

Customer Service Challenges: Contacting Gotogate's customer service has been a nightmare. Long hold times, dropped calls, and vague responses from representatives have made it impossible to get a clear status update on my refund.

Conflicting Information: Different representatives provided conflicting information about the refund status, adding to my frustration and confusion.

Escalation Attempts: Attempts to escalate the issue to a supervisor or manager were ignored or denied, leaving me without any effective resolution.

Financial Impact: The missing refund has caused significant financial strain, especially since I had to book a replacement flight through another provider.

Lack of Accountability: Despite their policies and assurances, Gotogate has not taken responsibility for processing my refund. The lack of clear communication and accountability has made the entire process unnecessarily difficult and frustrating.

Conclusion:

This experience with Gotogate has been incredibly disappointing.

Hello Mr or Ms. We search and booked tickets with your app from Newcastle to Faro on 5th of January .Now we cant do check in because one ticket was for child 12 years old (Victoria Kurova)that in category children in your app.But in Ryanair it is a teenager category. Could you be so kind to change category please .

Have tried to find a telephone number to discuss buying flights off Skyscanner.

I want to buy 2 single tickets to Colombo to Melbourne and 4 return tickets Melbourne to Colombo on the same plane and want to confirm we can all be on the same plane. Just cannot find anyway of contacting Skyscanner!!!

Despite offering cheaper flights, they aggressively harrass you for money for seat allocation and name change to add middle name to tickets. There is no box for the middle name in booking and the negative reviews with same problem are abundant.

This is a scam and I have reported to Fraud Team and to Trading Standards. Do NOT use this company

It's not a review - it's feedback re: their recent article detailing what is/n't allowed in cabin luggage

We have no quik contact method with them - and I don't do much 'social media' (:). Just to say, the first para is contradictory in respect of Nail Clippers. In the top sentence, you say they're a "No No' but then in the chart, you say Yes, they're accepted.

I have bought 5 tickets .

1 adult and 4 children

3 children come in category age under 11

And one of the child is age 12 so I selected age 12+ and now when I am trying to check in it isnt letting me because Skyscanner put that child as adult and his date of birth is invalid because Skyscanner has put him in adult category and now I cant check in for him . Do I need to purchase a whole new ticket for him or will Ryanair let me check in at the airport with the same ticket ?
